Kareena Kapoor's wedding clothes prepared
With reports that the wedding celebrations will commence from October 16, designer Manisha Malhotra has been carrying out final fittings for the bride-to-be's family, IANS reports. Speaking on Twitter, Malhotra said: "This morning :fittings with karisma for her clothes for kareenas wedding." Kareena Kapoor is expected to wear her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore's wedding dress, which has been modified to make it more contemporary. Malhotra said that the clothes for Kareena's wedding trousseau will be minimalistic, reflecting the actress's personal style.
The Pataudi wedding is expected to be a lavish event with celebrations taking place over several days. A source told the Mumbai Mirror: "They have booked the hotel from October 13 to 17 for the various unctions
that are to be held before their wedding day. A Gurgaon hotel has already been booked. They have also arranged to land on a helipad nearby."
Talking about her marriage plans, the Heroine star recently said: "Post-marriage I will be Kareena Kapoor Khan. That means I have the privilege of having two of the most powerful surnames in Bollywood attached to my name."
